My work explores my personal experiences with physical and mental health as well as interpersonal relationships. The unique movement of each abstracted form tells my own personal story, while allowing the viewer to relate their own person stories to the piece. I also encourage play and reflection of childhood through tactile experience, as I tend to explore the changes in perspective that occur during growing up.

I interact with my pieces the same way I encourage the viewer to, through play. Whatever emotion that I am feeling in the moment can be seen reflected in the way I work. I typically go into a piece with little idea of what is going to happen. The meaning comes as the clay moves in its own way, and what emotions my personal reflections create.
